To Begin With Do We Need an Election?

Thus Why we Should Not Vote for Trudeau

In particular a recent Fraser Institute report states that although tax revenues have been reduced during the Covid-19 pandemic that the rate of taxes is much higher than other family incomes and indeed even the Consumer Price Index of the country.

Taxes have grown much more rapidly than any other single expenditure for the average Canadian family: expenditures on shelter increased by 1,671%, clothing by 629%, and food by 767% from 1961 to 2020.

The average Canadian family now spends more of its income on taxes (36.4%) than it does on basic necessities such as food, shelter,
and clothing combined (35.4%). By comparison, 33.5% of the average family’s income went to pay taxes in 1961 while 56.5% went to basic necessities.

Give with one hand-Take with the other hand

In fact Mr. Trudeau wants your money and doesn’t care if you don’t have enough on which to live. Indeed the approach of the Liberal government is not only bad for small business during this pandemic with thousands closing their doors never to open again, but is actually hitting us all where it hurts the most in our pocket books.

In conclusion, the financial management capability of Mr. Trudeau and his Liberal government is shown to be inept at best. To illustrate he engaged in financial giveaways rather than finding ways to keep people working and in many cases to people in families earning more than $100,000 per year.

“CERB is one of the centrepieces of the federal government’s response to the COVID recession. As noted in our earlier analysis of the program, published in July, Ottawa is transferring up to $11.8 billion to young people (aged 15 to 24) who live as dependents in families with at least $100,000 in household income. In almost every case, the benefits CERB provides to these young Canadians—almost one million of them—exceed their monthly earnings in 2019, actually making them better off now, during one of the worst recessions in Canadian history.”

Finally we do need an election. In fact it is time for Mr. Trudeau and his government to go. Please vote but don’t vote Trudeau if you want to have your country healthy again.

To begin with do we here in Canada need an election on September 20? In short Mr. Trudeau doesn’t care if you’re ready we vote on September 20 and in his mind you will give him the majority government he craves.
